I used those molds that release the bottom, to make the cake straighter, but if you don’t have, you can do it like this.
I added some lemon juice to wet it, but it doesn’t need to be soaked, just a little bit.
With the cake cold, cut it in half, wet it a little with the lemon juice, put half of the mousse and then the other part of the cake, wet it again with the lemon juice and finally, the rest of the mousse.
I decorated it with whipped cream and lemon zest.
