Chicken Rice Recipe (Chicken)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 kg of chicken in pieces
  • Salt, pepper and chopped parsley to taste
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 6 cups of boiling water (tea)
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups of rice (washed and drained)
  • 2 chopped ripe tomatoes
  • 1 large carrot

Preparation mode

Over high heat, heat a pan with the oil and brown the chicken pieces seasoned with salt and pepper.
Add the onion, garlic and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Add 2 cups (tea) of the water, the chicken broth and cook for 20 minutes on medium heat or until the chicken softens and the water dries up.
Add the rice and fry for 2 minutes.
Add the tomato, carrot, the rest of the water and cook for 20 minutes on low heat or until all the water has dried and the rice is soft.
If necessary, season with salt.
Remove from heat and let rest for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with parsley, fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
