Rice Made in the Pressure Cooker

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of raw rice (uncooked)
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into thick slices
  • 2 smoked pepperoni sausages, sliced ​​into rounds
  • 4 cups of cold water (tea)
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 tomato, skinless and seeded, chopped
  • 1 medium grated carrot
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of oil or olive oil
  • green smell to taste

Preparation mode

In a pressure cooker, sauté the chopped onion and garlic in oil or olive oil.
Remove the pan from the heat and make layers in the following order: first place the potato slices, on top of the pepperoni sausage, rice, grated carrot, chopped tomato, green smell, crumbled chicken stock, salt to taste and finally cold water.
Cover the pan and place over high heat. When the pan starts to sizzle, lower the heat to medium flame, and count 10 minutes after starting the pressure.
Turn off the heat and let the pressure come out naturally (do not force the pressure release, as this rest is necessary).
