CALABRESE PIE
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1 and 1/4 cup (tea) guarana at room temperature
- 3/4 cup (tea) of oil
- 2 cups of flour (wheat)
- salt to taste
- 50g grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- Oil and wheat flour for greasing and flouring
- grated parmesan cheese for sprinkling
- Filling
- 2 teaspoons of oil
- 4 slices of sliced calabrese sausage
- 1 chopped onion
- Sliced green olives to taste
- 200g cream cheese
Preparation mode
For the filling, heat the oil over medium heat and fry the pepperoni for 5 minutes. Add the onion and sauté for another 3 minutes. Add olives and stir. Remove and reserve. Blend all the ingredients for the dough in a blender, except the yeast, until smooth. Turn off, add the yeast and mix. Pour half of the dough into a small, greased and floured rectangular pan, spread the sautéed pepperoni and cover with the cottage cheese. Put the remaining dough, sprinkle with Parmesan and take it to the medium oven, preheated, for 35 minutes or until golden. Remove, cut into squares and serve, if desired, with more cream cheese.
