For the Vanilla Dough or cake:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 125g butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1½ cups flour
- 1¾ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ cup of milk
- baking powder
For the caramel:
- 1 and a half cups of Sugar
- 1/4 cup of Water
Preparation
For the vanilla cake:
1. Mix flour and baking powder, add to butter mixture and mix well. Finally, add the milk until the mixture is smooth. Place in the prepared mold and take to the oven
For the caramel:
2. Put the sugar with ¼ cup of water in a Pot or pan and mix at room temperature, then melt it over medium heat until it begins to turn into Caramel. (Be attentive to the color of our caramel so as not to burn the candy)
3. Now that we have the caramel ready, the entire base of the mold that we will use to make our flip is covered and we proceed to put the pieces of banana or pineapple (canned pineapple slices) on said caramel so that it can later be filled with the mixture of the vanilla cake.
4. Bake everything in approximately 20 to 35 minutes at 180ºC in a Bain-Marie to turn it over later and you can enjoy this dessert Voir moins
