Ground beef pie with mozzarella is a delight
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of flour (wheat)
- 3 tablespoons of margarine
- 3 tablespoons of lard
- 3 gems
- 3 tablespoons cold water (approximately)
Filling:
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1/2 chopped green pepper
- 1 chopped seedless tomato
- 400g of minced meat
- Salt, pepper and chopped parsley to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preparation mode:
Place the oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the onion and garlic for 3 minutes. Add the peppers, the tomato and sauté for 4 minutes. Add the meat and sauté for 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, parsley and let it cool. Mix the cheese and set aside. In a bowl, mix the flour, margarine, lard, 2 egg yolks and water until a homogeneous mass is formed. If necessary, add more water. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes. Open the dough with a rolling pin and line the bottom and side of a 20cm diameter tin with a removable ring with part of the dough. Spread the filling and cover with the remaining dough, pressing the edges to close. Brush with the remaining egg yolk and bake in a preheated medium oven for 40 minutes or until golden.
