Ingredients:
- 1 kg of minced meat
- 1 yolk
- 1 packet of creamed onion powder (68g)
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- Salt, pepper and chopped parsley to taste
- 1 cup of wheat flour (for breading)
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (for breading)
- Frying oil
- 300g grated mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil to garnish
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 and 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
- Fresh chopped basil to taste
Preparation mode:
For the sauce, heat a pan with the oil over medium heat and fry the onion and garlic until golden. Add the tomato sauce and cook over low heat until it thickens. Add the basil, mix and turn off the heat. Set aside. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, egg yolk, creamed onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and parsley. Knead with your hands until homogenized. Take portions of the dough and open in the palm of your hand to form the steaks, squeezing. To coat, pass through the wheat flour, beaten eggs and breadcrumbs. , soaking, until golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Transfer to a refractory, drizzle with the hot sauce and cover with the mozzarella. Take it to the medium oven (180º C), preheated, for 10 minutes. Garnish with basil and serve immediately.
