Ingredients:
- 1 can of drained corn
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup of oil
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 spoons of sugar
- 1/2 spoon of salt
- 5 grams of dry yeast
- 1/2 kilo of flour approximately
Preparation mode:
- In the blender, beat the milk with the corn and pass through a sieve to strain.
- Pour this beat into a basin, add the oil, egg, sugar, salt and yeast, mix well and start adding the flour little by little, always stirring with the help of a spoon, when it starts to lump, drop it on a bench and knead it by hand. to homogenize well.
- If necessary, add flour and work the dough until it is very soft and elastic.
- When you finish kneading, place the dough in the sun to rise between 1 and 2 hours on hot days, and a little longer on mild days. Cover with plastic and cover with a tea towel.
- After the dough has doubled in volume, drop it back onto the lightly floured countertop, knead the air and shape the buns.
- Place in a greased and floured pan (can be with cornmeal) brush egg yolk, sprinkle a little cornmeal and let it rise again until it doubles in volume.
- Bake in a medium oven for about 25 minutes or until golden.
